First of all in celebration and mucho happiness, Cassidy slept for 5 1/2 hours last night. Yeah for that. You would think I would have been well rested but I woke up on my own at 3:36 (Hmm she isn't up yet, cool!) 4:10 (was that her? Nope just Ryan snoring ) 4:30 (holy cow she isn't up yet? should I go check on her) 5:03 (is she still breathing?) and then finally at 5:30 to her cries. Yeah, a night of paranoia. I don't expect her to do this again but I'm very excited about the possibilities though.
So I watched American Idol last night. I was surprised Amanda was kicked off but happy about it. She was getting on my nerves a little. I think she really is Rosanne Barr. While I was watching, I notice Ryan Seacrest's hairstyle and realized that Cassidy is sporting the same do. It is a great look on a guy but not so sure what to think on my 7 week old baby. What do you think? Pretty similar huh?
There is a local paper that we get every week and as I was flipping through it today looking for Easter Egg hunts this Saturday, I opened to a page featuring story time at the library and lo and behold there is my Lacey Lu. I saw the photographer there last week but wasn't sure where he was from. Lacey thought it was the coolest thing ever. Aidan was a little bummed he wasn't in the picture until I pointed out his leg. That seemed to suffice.
I got my hair done today. I was a little bummed about the whole deal. Back in November when I went red the stylist I went to gave me the BEST haircut. I was so happy to find a good stylist in the town I lived. I haven't had a good reliable stylist for a long time. This has been a long time annoyance of mine. I have tried person after person never satisfied with anyone. This has been going on since I moved from Utah 7 years ago. So I was finally very happy. Well this guy had some surgeries and was out of commission for awhile but when I called to make an appointment he was there. I was really excited he was back at work. Well, when I went in for my appointment he had called in sick because of a new medication he had started. So the other girl said she would do my hair. I should have just declined because I was not fully happy with her. I had decided to go back to a blonde color because of Ryan. I'm just going to flat out say that. He liked the red but LOVES blonde. I enjoyed being red and was tempted to go for another round. So the girl who did my hair made me neither here nor there when it comes to the color. It isn't blonde. It isn't red. So I came home disappointed and frustrated. I may give this salon one more shot if I can get in to see this other guy again but if he isn't available....I'm done. Which means the venture of finding someone "good" starts all over again.

First of all, GO CASSIDY! I remember the first night Bethany slept that long--I did the exact same thing. Second of all, that's so cool Lacey was in the paper! I normally go to the toddler time, but Bethany wasn't feeling well (ear inf) last week. I love the library, though. And, third of all, I like the "in between" color of your hair. Seriously. It's kind of a compromise--the red for you and the blonde for hubby. :) I like it.
There's so much to comment on. I love seeing the little pics of Cassidy. she looks beautiful and in need of more kisses on those darling cheeks.

When it comes to hair, it's always such a bummer when you don't get exactly what you are hoping for. what did Ryan think?
I really like the hair. it has hi-lights which will give you depth and it will have the naturally sun kissed look. I like it.
As for IDOL... do know anything, although cassidy does have an eerily similar hair style.

Love the sleeping baby! We had a couple of good nights with Lindsay (8 hours) so I was getting ready to brag, and then last night--4 hours. I guess you take what you can get!
okay, first of all- congrats on sleeping more than 3 hours in a row! you TRULY need to celebrate...(and by celebrate, I mean sleep!) second- Ryan-pretty-boy-Seacrest has NOTHING on your gorgeous baby- the "do" looks ten times better on Cassidy Rose (as Dallin calls her)! and I'm with Laura- the blond looks beautiful! Reminds me I need to get mine done...found a few grays the other day...YIKES.
