So little miss Cassidy is one month today! We took her to the doctor today and here are her updated stats. Weight: 10 lbs. 3 oz. Height: 21 inches. She is in the 50 % for height and head size and 90 % for weight. She gained 1 1/2 lbs in 2 weeks. Wowee girl!
Well, we are all sick here at this house. My mom has been here for a week and we had tons of fun things planned to do each day this week. We haven't been able to do ANY of them. Lacey got sick, then Aidan, then Ryan. My mom and I are fighting it off with all our will power. I really am just hoping and praying that Cassidy doesn't get sick. I'm so paranoid. So far she has done great. I just need to keep everyone washing there hands, sanitizing everything and keep the kids from kissing her and breathing on her. That shouldn't be too hard right? So all those fun things we were going to do ended up being used to watch movies. We have watched every movie in our house at least 3 times. YIKES.
Did you watch Project Runway? I was happy with the winner. I'm so excited to see the finale next week!

Taller, Lighter, Heavier
Taller:
The kids got bunkbeds this week. They seems so tall and huge in their room but they sure have opened up some floor space. Ryan worked all last night to put them together. They look so nice. The kids fell asleep on our bed last night while Ryan finished putting the beds together. We woke up Aidan before we put him in bed so he would know he was up on the top and not wig out when he woke up. He was barely coherent enough to climb the ladder but he had a huge smile on his face trying to do it. Then when he woke up this morning and we asked him about seeing his bed last night he said, "My eyes popped out of my head." He is a happy camper in his fun new bed.

Lighter:
I went to the doctor today for my 2 week checkup and I am 20lbs lighter than just 2 weeks ago. Given 8 1/2 lbs of that was pure baby but still I am THRILLED!
Heavier:
Cassidy went in for her 2 week checkup and she is now 8 lbs. 9 oz. She weighed just 8 lbs. last week and she was supposed to gain 1/2 an ounce a day. Well she gained 9 ounces which is well beyond her expected goal. Yeah Cassidy, you chunky thing. Okay she really isn't chunky but she is filling out.

At our family reunion last July we were all given green CTR bracelets. Our kids know that CTR stands for Choose the Right but at the time of the reunion we said that CTR stood for Carter Team Reunion since it was the Carter Family Reunion. Aidan has loved his bracelet. He wears it everyday and night and only takes it off for showers. I'm not really sure why Aidan has loved this bracelet so much. Well, today his bracelet broke. He came into the kitchen just crying and crying. While Ryan was trying to console him Aidan muttered out between sobs, "But I won't be able to choose the right anymore!" Isn't that the cutest thing? So we will be petitioning from Grandma Nana to bring out a new bracelet when she comes for Aidan so he can continue to choose the right.Cassidy has been doing great. Today she is officially a week old. I can't believe it has been a whole week. I am already looking at her hoping she never grows up. She went to the doctor yesterday and they said she looks wonderful. She has gained back some of the weight she has lost and is headed straight towards chunkiness. She is sleeping well too which is nice for all of us. We received her fake birth certificate today from the hospital with her cute little footprints on it.

Here are a couple of pics of Cassidy's first bath.

Announcing...

It has been so good to be home. It has been a little hard on the kids to be cooped up so much and to have their parents so tired. We are trying to adjust. Aidan and Lacey are constantly asking to hold the baby. They are very good with her. She is a great baby. She sleeps a lot and isn't fussy unless hungry or in need of a diaper change. She has had her first bath, first family home evening, and first accident on daddy. We just love and adore her. We have been very taken care of by friends, members in the ward and also neighbors. They have really helped us out so much.
For some reason Aidan keeps calling Cassidy, Sariah. I don't really know why. Maybe we missed something. Aidan has said some cute prayers lately. Here are three as of late.
#1 Dear Heavenly Father, please bless my mommy's tummy that it will go downer more.
#2 Dear Heavenly Father, please bless the baby that she will grow up and we can teach her how to be obedient.
#3 Dear Heavenly Father, please bless the baby that she will grow up and find her neck.
Silly kid!!

She has ARRIVED!!!!

Our little girl arrived yesterday just after 2 p.m. She weighs 8 lbs. 6 oz. 20 inches long. Our smallest baby yet but she was also 2 weeks early. She has more hair than Lacey and Aidan both had. She has cute fat cheeks and a sweet little nose.
Aidan and Lacey came last night to meet their little sister. They were so cute with her and just wanted to look at every little body part. When Lacey first saw her she said, "Why is she so cute?" They both wanted to hold her. Aidan thought her mohawk hairdo was awesome. They had a hard time leaving last night. All three kids were crying as they left. It was heartbreaking to see my kids so sad to leave.
I won't be able to leave until Saturday. I guess that is their typical amount of days after you have had a baby. I am doing well. A little sore but I am able to get up on my own and walk around. Baby girl is doing well also. She slept real well last night. I think she was plum tuckered. She is just a beautiful thing and I am so happy she is finally here.
YES, she is still nameless.
