My Grandma loved to play cards. That is probably what I remember doing with her the most. She had the best games. Last week Lacey wanted to play something so I got out the cards and taught her a game my grandma played with me. We call it the clock game. It really is a solitaire game but we made it work for multiple players. Lacey loved it. Then we taught it to Aidan. He loved it as well. It is simple and easy for the kids to play. As I taught them to play, I talked about my grandma and what she was like. I took out some pictures too so they could see her. She passed away before they were born so I told them she got them ready in heaven to come to earth and told them to be good and choose the right. Lacey loved the thought of grandma preparing her for earth. Just a little heritage I'm trying to pass down.

i remember the clock game too. What were the rules?
I don't remember the clock game. What are the rules?
I'm so happy that you are doing that. Those are the seeds to help the kids realize that they are a part of a BIG family that love them. I just wish that they could have heard Grandma Blake tell stories and poems. She was so good at that and I remember some of them still.
I taught the clock game to my kids to. You just set up the game and pull the first card from one the hands on the clock and then put the card on the number it is. You'll remember. We each got a few numbers to be incharge of. The first ones with them all turned over wins.
I totally remember the clock game but I am vague on the details. I think that that was awesome to teach them that.
