Recipes

I love collecting good recipes from people that I know. What I love the most is of course the good food but I also love that overtime I make it I am thinking about them. As I have moved from city to city or as friends have come and gone I have collected some good recipes. Everytime I make that particular recipe my thoughts ALWAYS turn to them. I think about how they influenced my life, my good memories with them, and what I loved most about them. It is just so fun to go through my recipes and see how many people have influenced my life and my cooking. They will forever be a part of me and my cooking.

That is SOOOOOOoooooo true. I do that too. Even if it is just a brief minute, their name runs thru your brain and they are remembered.

Now that you've got all our mouths watering, you should share some of your favorite food recipes with us, your dedicated followers.

That is really true. That is one of the reasons that I love the old 7th ward cookbook. I loved those sisters and I think about them and the great woman that they were. I once gave Blake a cookbook of my favorite recipes that I made all the time. Beside the recipe I wrote why it was a favorite and some of the great times we had together eating those meals. I hope he still has it. ps...thanks for sharing some of those great recipes with me.
