Our 7th wedding anniversary was on May 4th but I didn't get to posting about it. But today is our anniversary of the day we met so I am posting about us today! We met 8 years ago today. I had moved into a new ward in Provo and a couple of Sundays after I moved in, Ryan and his roommate stopped me and my sister after church. They thought we were hotties. They asked if we were going to the Break the Fast after church and we were. Well, they showed up to Break the fast for their FIRST TIME. Hmm, I wonder why.? We hung out with them there and then at their house after. Our first date was two days later. We went to Leatherbys in Provo and then watched a movie. He drove a white lifted jeep when I met him and it was probably 75% of the reason he caught my attention. 
Okay not really but it didn't hurt.
We dated for 6 months and then were engaged for 5. Ryan came at a time when I really wasn't expecting it. I knew though that he was my guy. I love his desire for adventure, his crazy sense of humor, his ambitious work ethic, his dashing good looks, and his strength in the gospel. He is a strength to me that I have always needed. He keeps me grounded and calms me when I am freakin' out. I love that he wakes up early and is ready to do something. He works hard in his job and also at home. He is a terrific daddy to our kids. I just love being with him and mostly that he loves me despite all my wacky traits. I love my life because he is in it.

So funny to remember the first time I met him. We all went to Lagoon. So glad our weird family didn't scare him away, cuz he is a catch.

I can't believe that you have been in our family for 7 years. I will always be grateful that you didn't get to know our crazy family before you were in too deep to get out. hahaha! I sure love that you picked my brother.
