My favorite thing that came with my house is the orange day lilies along the side and also a little patch in front.
The lilies come back every year in full force. I look forward to their arrival every summer! I love that they are maintenance free too. Two years ago I transplanted some onto the hill in my back yard. They have multiplied and look so pretty. These flowers are all over Kentucky, just along the roads and in people's yards. I am so glad I have my very own.

there are so many beautiful random flowers that grow there. These are beautiful. I guess the plant that grown out here like that is the iris.
I loved those Day Lilies as well! I love the big orange bloom and I even love the long slender leaves that last after the bloom has faded. At my home in West Point we used to have a big patch right along the ditch bank. I loved to see them blossom in the summer. I planted them at the corner of our house in TF right by Analee's bedroom. That patch has reseeded and now anchors the whole corner. It is so nice to have that Day Lily tradition passed on now to you!!!
