While we were in Seattle the kids were introduced to the workings of an office. Ryan's mom was in the middle of tax season and has several employees working for her in her home office. The kids, especially Lacey, fell in love with office work. I don't think I saw Lacey from 9 to 5 because she was working with the girls. She used post it notes, worked on the computer, carried around a pen and notebook and even made a name tag for her desk. I was shocked how much she loved being in the office. I really hope she wasn't much of a burden to them. As the days went on my kids started wearing a pen clipped on their shirts just like Grandpa Arden did.

That is so great. Workin' in the office with grandma. What could be better? At 4 my girls both loved to write in a notebook. I have a million little notebooks around. Meg still likes it and can even write some real words.
In Seattle and didn't tell me! :( I hope you had a good trip, though.
I remember I loved playing office with my friends. We would get little invoices and fake phones and play and play.
I'm pretty sure Lacey will be The Boss of something someday. She's such a take-charge gal.
Hope you've had fun in Seattle.
That is were all my pens went! hahaha! I love that they were copying Dad. Especially with the post its. He was so proud!
Well, there you have it. Two CEOs were born!! I think that is such a fun thing for them and it will introduce them to many hours of play with each other and with their friends. I loved the pens tucked to their shirts. Granny, you have an aprentice!! How fun is that??
