The kids got bunkbeds this week. They seems so tall and huge in their room but they sure have opened up some floor space. Ryan worked all last night to put them together. They look so nice. The kids fell asleep on our bed last night while Ryan finished putting the beds together. We woke up Aidan before we put him in bed so he would know he was up on the top and not wig out when he woke up. He was barely coherent enough to climb the ladder but he had a huge smile on his face trying to do it. Then when he woke up this morning and we asked him about seeing his bed last night he said, "My eyes popped out of my head." He is a happy camper in his fun new bed.
Lighter:
I went to the doctor today for my 2 week checkup and I am 20lbs lighter than just 2 weeks ago. Given 8 1/2 lbs of that was pure baby but still I am THRILLED!
Heavier:
Cassidy went in for her 2 week checkup and she is now 8 lbs. 9 oz. She weighed just 8 lbs. last week and she was supposed to gain 1/2 an ounce a day. Well she gained 9 ounces which is well beyond her expected goal. Yeah Cassidy, you chunky thing. Okay she really isn't chunky but she is filling out.

let's see some pictures. Every kid should be able to be in a bunkbed sometime in his life. Bedtime becomes an adventure. Even tho they are a pain to make the bed each day for the mom.
There were bunkbeds at the house we stayed in at the coast. Megan refers to that house as "the house with the up and down bed."
Wow!! Those bunkbeds are awesome! And, way to go on the weight loss already! Let me know if you guys need anything. I'd love to help, and I've got cabin fever BAD! I'd love to get out and see more than just our little apartment! :)
We're twins. Maybe not on the weight loss thing for me, but Lindsay went in for her 10 day check up and she was 8 lbs, 9 oz also. Those bunkbeds look just like ours. Did you get them at Costco?? Glad to hear you are doing good!

I'm glad to hear you are all doing so well. I loved my bunkbeds when I was little. wish we were closer so we could see little Cassidy, you guys the kids and your home.. hope you're staying warm:)
Great job on the weight! I always had the hardest time losing the weight, then I started running, that was what did it for me. I think that your blog is so cute! What do you use to design it?
The beds are beautiful. Thanks for the picture.
